1. Data controller

The data controller is a natural person, Cinzia Ciprì, lead of the NeuroDesk project, reachable at hello@neurodesk.it.

For any request about your data you can write to hello@neurodesk.it.

2. What data we collect

• Data you provide by filling in the contact form or writing to us: name, email address and the content of your message.
• Technical browsing data needed to serve the site (e.g. IP address, browser type), processed by the hosting provider for security and operation.

Please do not include special-category data in your message (Art. 9 GDPR, e.g. health information) unless strictly necessary.

3. Why we process them and on what legal basis

• To answer your request and manage the resulting contact — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a) and/or the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b).
• For the security and operation of the site — legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).

4. How long we keep them

We keep contact data for the time strictly necessary to handle your request and, in any case, for the minimum required by law. Once that need has ended, the data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Who they may be shared with

Your data is not disclosed to third parties or made public, and is not transferred for any purpose. We currently do not use external providers processing data on our behalf. Should this change in the future, any providers will be appointed as data processors and this policy will be updated.

No transfer of data takes place to countries outside the European Union.

6. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, and portability. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. To exercise these rights, write to hello@neurodesk.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

7. Cookies

This site uses only technical cookies and local storage, needed to work: they store your theme choice (light/dark) and your acknowledgement of this notice. We use no profiling cookies and no third-party analytics/tracking tools, so no prior consent is required.

8. The NeuroDesk app

This policy covers the showcase site. The users-only application (app.neurodesk.it), which may process special categories of data, is governed by a dedicated policy and consent inside the app itself.
